Instrument deployment

The instruments are in Anchorage.  Members of the Regional Working Group would like to see a schedule of installation from Niren soon.

Data will be directed to Bob Stewart in Anchorage and then up to the Alaska Earthquake Information Center in Fairbanks.  Tom Murray will be in touch with Steve Estes (AEIC) to talk about telemetry and communication issues.

Niren should have a budget to Tom Murray by the end of the week.  Permitting issues should be resolved soon and installation should take place within the next month or so.  A map of station locations needs to be finalized and distributed soon.

Someone from the National Strong Motion Project will be up to help with installation.

Roger will write up a detailed checklist for an installation plan.

Charter review

Because not everyone scheduled to attend this teleconference was available, the charter review will wait for another meeting.  Goals with key factors of success are due to Tom Murray by Friday, May 25.

Next meeting

The next meeting will be a teleconference held at 9:00 a.m. on June 1, 2001.
