Alaric CadyAlaric Cady lives in Anchorage, Alaska. He's home schooled and in 10th grade. He enjoys computer work, hiking, and the outdoors. He has also achieved the rank of life scout. |

Emma FunkEmma is a 12-year old 8th grader from Fairbanks. She is obsessed with Shakespeare and photography. Emma loves down-hill skiing and reading. She also enjoys wearing yellow, cross gartered stockings and smiling. |

Kathleen KubidaKathleen is 16 years old and is from Colorado Springs, CO. Next year she will be attending Cheyenne Mountain High School as a junior. She enjoys cheerleading, and in the winter she loves to go snowboarding. When she grows up, she wants to be either a veterinarian, a doctor, or a meterologist. In her free time she enjoys playing Roller Coaster Tycoon for hours on end, hanging out with her family, and playing with her amazing cat Bradley. |

Reid MagdanzReid is from Kotzebue, Alaska, located on the Baldwin Peninsula about 300 miles from ASRA. He loves reading, especially in the science fiction and fantasy genres. Athletically, he likes cross country, baseball, softball, and Ultimate Frisbee. He enjoys camping, which is part of the reason he chose the earthquake module. He is 17 and will be a senior at Kotzebue High School next year. Go Red Sox! |

Tommy MoriartyTommy is a 15 year old sophmore at Lexington High School in Massachusetts. This is his first time in Alaska and won't ever get used to the sky staying light throughout the night. He enjoys singing, sports, and hanging with friends. |

Donnie NealDonnie Neal is from Kotzebue, Alaska. His hobbies include reading, splitting wood, and playing frisbee. He likes geology and seismology because rocks don't spit, cry, or bleed. He likes writing poetry, but only the rhyming kind and only if it's funny. He likes telling dumb jokes and saying 'snazzy'. He's going to be a senior this fall. (The kind in high school, not the kind born in the 1940's) |

Jennifer PeelerJennifer recently graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and is spending the summer with her parents in the Fairbanks area. She is an Air Force Brat and has enjoyed living all over the United States. She enjoys dancing, camping and building robots for FIRST competitions. She is attending North Carolina State University in the fall to pursue a career in civil engineering. She worked as an intern this year, having been an ASRA student last year. |

Katrina JacobsKatrina is starting her third year as a Masters student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is studying volcano seismology. Her thesis will focus on the Augustine 2006 pre-eruption earthquake swarm and identifiying physical processes using earthquake swarms. Katrina also plays double bass and is a member of the Fairbanks Symphony. She enjoys teaching the students about seismology, digging in permafrost, and spending time in Denali National Park. |

Michael WestMike is a research assistant professor at the Geophysical Institute. He works in seismology with a research focus on volcanoes. He works with the Alaska Volcano Observatory. Mike particularly enjoys any activities that allow him to explore the Alaskan wilderness. The ASRA earthquakes in Denali module is a great chance to explore one of the most interesting tectonic areas of the country. The Denali field work is Mike's idea of heaven: a mix of science and outdoors, camping with bright interesting people, and avoiding moose poop while deploying scientific equipment. |
