National Earthquake Information Center Best all around earthquake information site, up-to-the-minute earthquake lists, maps, tons of background information, well organized, run by the USGS, in particular look under "General Earthquake Information".
The IRIS Consortium Very detailed, "Seismic Monitor" very cool interactive map of recent seismicity, LOTS of data, some educational information, occasionally hard to navigate.
